I’ve been married a long time, and if I’ve learned one big lesson these past 34+ years, it’s pay attention to the little things. For instance, woe be unto me if I come home from work and fail to notice that my wife had a haircut or new styling. It doesn’t matter if it was only an inch off the ends, not detecting the change can be the difference between a smiling “Oh, do you like it?” or that look all throughout dinner.
