SIP Architecture 101

Enterprise Connect is a little more than a month away and I am in the process of putting the final touches on my Understanding and Leveraging SIP for your Enterprise presentation. With me, it’s always a balancing act between down-in-the-weeds protocol geekiness and enterprise solutions. While I admit to favoring the former, I realize that technology without practical applications is purely academic. So, as much as I would love to spend the full hour and forty five minutes of my session talking about SIP headers and the mathematics behind audio codecs, I am certain that I would drive away 95% of my potential audience.

In my latest article for No Jitter, I present my third (an probably last) pre-session teaser.  This time I take a high level look at the servers and services that make up a SIP architecture.
