The Trouble with Standards…

I hate the fact that every time I buy a new PC or cell phone, the chances are good that it will come with a power cord that won’t work on any of my other devices.  You would think that something like an electrical cord would be standard by now.  However, I have a box filled with working but worthless chords and power bricks that tells me otherwise.
